Constant scalar curvature Kähler metrics on toric surfaces

Vendredi 14 décembre 2007 14:00-15:00 - Donaldson Simon - Imperial College, Londres

Résumé : In the lecture, we discuss an existence theorem for these metrics, and some of the main points involved in the proof.
These are related to collapsing phenomena in Riemannian geometry. We will explain the use of « blow-up » (i.e. rescaling) arguments which enter in two different, but related, ways--- one in the context of Riemannian geometry and one of convex geometry.
