This page is devoted to the course "Algorithms in number theory" of the Master 2 Arithmétique, Analyse et Géométrie, Orsay, 2025-2026, given by Chimène Fischler, Kevin Destagnol and myself.

The course will take place on Wednesdays, from 10AM to 12PM, in room 1A12 of LMO (Bâtiment 307, Orsay). Practical sessions using Sage will take place every other week on Thursdays, from 4:15 to 6:15 PM, in room 0E4.

Due to an exam of the first semester planned on January 28th, the first lecture will take place on Wednesday, February 4th. The next practical session is on Thursday, February 5th. The course will continue until the end of April.

To take part in practical sessions you need a computer account. We shall have it created for you, but for this we need your name and email address. So please write to me if you plan to attend our course.
