Representation theory and geometry of loop spaces

9-13 January 2023

Laboratoire de Mathématiques d'Orsay

The aim of the conference is to explore representation theory of algebras with an emphasis on those which arise from physical considerations rather recently. They include vertex algebras and diagrammatic algebras (that exhibits some cluster algebra structure) whose representation categories are tightly connected with those associated to semisimple Lie algebras and Hecke algebras. This workshop intends to investigate the relation between these representation theories, by bringing together researchers from geometric representation theory, vertex algebra theory and the geometry of arc and loop spaces.

All talks will be held in the room 3L15 in the third floor of the LMO.

Coffee breaks will be held in the hall, in front of the main entrance.

The conference is organized as part of the PHC SAKURA program.
