Maître de conférences at the Paris-Saclay University (Orsay, France)

Presentation

I am a "maître de conférences" at the department of mathematics of the university of Paris-Sud (Orsay), in France. I belong to the Topology and dynamics team.

My research interests are in ergodic theory, and more precisely on the stochastic properties of chaotic dynamical systems, random dynamical systems and nul recurrent dynamical systems (endowed with an infinite measure).

Announcements

On Wednesday 17th, 2026, I organise a workshop on dynamics, thanks to an Exeter-Saclay seed grant. This workshop starts at 9:15 a.m. and ends at 4:00 p.m. and will take place in the room 3L8 of the Orsay Mathematical Institute. We will have the pleasure to listen to Jean-René Chazottes, Pierre-Antoine Guihéneuf, Tanja Schindler and Charles Fougeron. More information can be found on its webpage.

My PhD student, Thomas Morand, will defend is thesis on Galton-Watson processes in dynamical environments on Friday 19th, June 2026, 2:00 p.m., in the room 3L8 of the Orsay Mathematical Institute.

I defended my habilitation on Wednesday 10th, December 2025. The memoir (in French) is there.

I now organise the weekly workshop on Ergodic Theory and Dynamical Systems in Orsay. We shall have biwwekly seminar talks, as well as biweekly article studies (in 2025-2025, on the spectral theory of Anosov flows).
