Elise Bonhomme
Since September 2020, I am a PhD student in mathematics at the Laboratoire de Mathématiques d'Orsay (LMO), Université Paris-Saclay, under the supervision of Jean-François Babadjian (LMO).
Research Areas
My research lies in the fields of Calculus of Variations, Partial Differential Equations and Geometric Measure Theory. More precisely, I'm interested in their applications to Continuum Mechanics (linear elasticity, homogenization, brittle damage, fracture, free discontinuity problems).

Work Group
Since September 2021, I co-organize the Work Group of Calculus of Variations (CalVa) between the Universities of Paris-Saclay, Paris-Diderot and Paris-Dauphine.
Upcoming
Welcome to the Journée de rentrée 2023 du GT CalVa for a day of talks on different topics in calculus of variations, on Monday the 16th of January, at Université Paris-Cité. Beware, the registration is free but mandatory !
