Elise Bonhomme

Since October 2023, I have a postdoc position at the Université Libre de Bruxelles, under the codirection of Antoine Gloria and Mitia Duerinckx.

From September 2020 to October 2023, I was a PhD student in mathematics at the Laboratoire de Mathématiques d'Orsay (LMO), Université Paris-Saclay, under the supervision of Jean-François Babadjian (LMO).

Research Areas

My research lies in the fields of Calculus of Variations, Partial Differential Equations and Geometric Measure Theory. More precisely, I'm interested in their applications to Continuum Mechanics (linear elasticity, homogenization, brittle damage, fracture, free discontinuity problems).

Here you can find the manuscript of my  thesis.
