Cecilia D'Errico

Welcome to my webpage! :)

I am a PhD student in Probability under the direction of Nathanaël Enriquez (IMO, Université Paris-Saclay) and Pierre Calka (Laboratoire de Mathématiques Raphaël Salem, Université Rouen Normandie).

Research

  • Poisson-Voronoi and Poisson-Delaunay tessellation in the homogeneous Euclidean case.
  • Random simplices in the unit sphere.

Presentations

  • Slides for Spring School: Women in Random Discrete Structures, Münster Germany (May 2025)
  • Slides presenting a few results concerning distances between vertices of the Poisson-Delaunay typical cell and the maximal germ-vertex distance of the Poisson-Voronoi typical cell. In particular, here I sketch Miles's reasoning behind his historical paper "Isotropic Random simplices".

Various documents

  • Here's my CV.
  • Here's the MathEnJeans problem set I created for the Atelier of Orsay for the two consecutive years 2023-2024-2025!
  • Here's a fun presentation about Stevens' formula for the probability of covering a circle with random arcs I gave at Maths En Herbe 2025 at IHES, a day to show undergraduate students what a PhD looks like.
