In this talk we will discuss J.L. Lions’ conjecture about non-autonomous maximal regularity. I will first explain the setting and question of Lions in detail, and then dominantly discuss counterexamples for the original formulation. By virtue of these counterexamples, a refined version of Lions’ question can be asked, and this new question is nicely complemented by affirmative results, of which I will present some.
