Résumé : This talk will give an overview of rigidity phenomena for self-maps of rank-one symmetric spaces, starting from Pansu’s work on quasiisometries. I will discuss how boundary techniques play a central role in these results, and raise the question of whether similar techniques might extend to more general classes of coarse maps.
