Polygonals dynamics is a family of birationnal transformations taking place in projective spaces (the most famous example being the pentagram map). They are associated to moduli spaces, where the dynamics often becomes integrable. I'll sketch the proof using algebraic tools. If time allows, I'll detail the implications of this powerfull property.
