The breakthrough results of Harris--Lan--Taylor--Thorne, and Scholze on the construction of not necessarily self-dual automorphic Galois representations opened up many new directions in Langlands reciprocity. In particular, verifying local-global compatibility at p for their automorphic (p-adic and p-torsion) Galois representations has since been under investigation, starting with the work of Allen--Calegari--Caraiani--Gee--Helm--Le Hung--Newton--Scholze--Taylor--Thorne, the famous “10-author paper”. In this talk, we will discuss recent progress on this problem.
